How can you keep being optimistic and inspired to keep thinking from the future when our outside world is upside down?
The truth is that there are many things in our lives that we have little control over — pandemics, wars, weather… But among the things that we can control, there’s a big one: our narrative, our myth.
This narrative is not the one that contains the objective facts of our lives; instead, it’s “the story you’ve been telling yourself about who you are and how everything always plays out,” says psychiatrist and Harvard Medical School professor John Sharp and author of : The Insight Cure: Change Your Story, Transform Your Life. And continues, “The worst part about the false truth we are telling ourselves, is that it becomes our self-fulfilling prophecy, the basis of what we expect from ourselves in the future.”
But what do we do when the story we tell ourselves about ourselves is no longer convincing?
If you want to change your life, you need to revise your narrative, draw new conclusions about yourselves, derive new themes, motifs, causal connections, meaningful insights, and life lessons. Through the creative act of storytelling that we glean a new sense of meaning, and identity.
What is your story, what is your myth, the one which serves the purpose for Leading you into the Light?
Our speakers will share with us their new myth which transformed the way they view life, how they created it and what was the outcome. Join us and get inspired!
