Within our era's massive disruption and social turmoil, the media's role in supporting economies and reinforcing democratic systems acquires new meaning and value. To further understand such a role and its unavoidable evolution to meet the new challenges, we invited Mr Theocharis Filippopoulos, President of Attica Media Group/Capital.gr/ENED, to an in-depth discussion under the title "Media, Economy, Democracy: An Interlinked Reality". The event took place on the 18th of February at the ClubHouse and was masterfully moderated by Dimitris Michopoulos, Founder of Genius & Crazy.

As Mr Filippopoulos highlighted, the media – the 4th estate, as they are widely known – are by default connected with a country's economy and governmental system since their role consists of monitoring society's needs while constantly observing, even criticizing or opposing when needed, governmental decisions, strategies and actions.
