"Metaverse" has become a new trendy word – largely thanks to Facebook's recent rebranding – penetrating our daily communication and bringing something from the sci-fi world into our reality. Still, its definition, operation, implementation, and potential advantages or disadvantages remain blurry. Τhe ongoing emergence of new tech trends and fads, frequently replacing each other, makes it hard to keep up with all developments, let alone maintain a feeling of competence in a world that sometimes seems as if drawn out of a movie.
