We tend to believe that the harmonious and successful operation of human societies depends almost entirely on effective, efficient and visionary governance, thus minimizing the significance of the role that we play ourselves as active citizens.

To delve into this topic, the virtuous cycle of efficacy and our collective future, we invited Mr Roman Gerodimos, Professor of Global Current Affairs at Bournemouth University, to share with us his thoughts, experiences and research in our first 2024 “Reflections Over a Glass of Wine” event that took place on the 28th of February in our ClubHouse. Acting as a veritable igniter, Mr Gerodimos inspired a vibrant discussion among the participating members, leading to further exchanges of reflections, concerns, wishes, and expectations.
